Lagoon Breach was inspired by a walk along Redhead Beach after the lagoon had opened to the sea. I loved the reflections in the wet sand, the dramatic cloud formations and the way the landscape seemed to stretch endlessly in every direction.
The small figures in the distance remind me of how these places invite us to slow down, wander and take it all in. It's a painting about the beauty of our local coastline and the moments that make you stop and appreciate it.
